Gigi had a mind-boggling 357,698 kilometers on her when we headed off for our 6,000 km journey. That’s 222,263 miles. For the spatially-disinclined, that’s approximately one shitload of miles.
In hindsight, perhaps it was not the best idea to cross one of the largest deserts in the world in a 1983 Mitsubishi van. But it was definitely worth a shot.
